2-day long "Dife to Dife Training" programs on "Ergonomics" and "Pressure Vessels" have been inaugurated today by Mr. Md. Bulbul Ahmed, Joint Inspector General, NOSHTRI. Mr. Ole R. Justesen, Sector Counsellor, Denmark Embassy, Dhaka, Bangladesh and experts from Danish Working Environment Authority and NOSHTRI officials were present in the event.
Training on ergonomics will provide inspectors with an opportunity to work on whether the furniture or equipment with which workers work is comfortable for their physical condition.
On the other hand, through pressure vessel training, inspectors will be able to carry out more intensive supervision of workers’ safety.
The speakers emphasize on the reflection of the training skills on the inspector’s inspection reports to the employers
